PostHeaderIcon 4 Under - Let them Play Program (Boys & Girls)

 

The 4 Under players play on Mondays (rain day is Wednesday) from 6-7pm at Orchard Park.

 
 

To be eligible for the 4 Under program, the youth must have been born in 2009-2010.

"Let Them Play" Program is a concept that targets Under 4 and 6 kids playing soccer. The focus is on enjoyment and freedom of expression and developing their gross motor skills, such as walking, running, jumping, falling, throwing, catching, kicking, rolling, etc. Basically the kids developing their balance and coordination through modified games.

To be eligible for the 8 Under program, the youth must have been born in 2005-2006.

Recreational soccer is a soccer program primarily devoted to the enjoyment and development of soccer players without the emphasis on travel and high-level competition but encourages participation. The purpose of recreational soccer is to provide an opportunity for the participants to have fun, learn the sport and develop life skills including a lifelong love of the game.

  • Access is open to all who desire to participate.
  • Emphasis is on active participation.
  • Objective is for the players to enjoy the experience.
  • Success and excellence are measured in players attracted and retained.
  • Recreational soccer is all about fun, recreation, love of the game and winning is not a measure of success.

NMS is pleased to announce competitive teams for the 2013 season. New Maryland Division 1 soccer creates an additional opportunity for players that wish to play at a competitive level with other teams around the province. We hope to be offering programs in U12, U14, U16/18 age groups. To receive a 10% discount, you must register on AGM night. Join New Maryland Soccer in these exciting ventures and make your summer soccer experience FUN!

Division 1 Note: As of this date we only have a coach for U16/18 Division 1 and no coaches for U12 or U14 Division 1. We will register your child for Rec soccer U12 and U14 and advise if a coach and tryouts are to occur for Division 1 U12/14. If there is enough interest in girls teams we will offer them also.

If fields are not closed the decision to abandon play shall be made by the game officials, if there are no officials present (e.g., in micro or mini games or at practices), this decision shall be made by the coach(es). If thunder is heard, or lightning is seen, play shall be abandoned and all participants shall be directed to seek appropriate shelter, such as: a vehicle (windows rolled up); a building; or low ground.
